Circus meets swing jazz in this fresh and energetic show all the way from Belgium. Live music, juggling and acrobatics tell the story of a day at the beach, a journey through memories of the perfect day.
‘Fillage’ is at heart a circus show so must remain true to what circus is, a spectacle that is entertainment for all ages leaving the feeling of wonder, amazement and joy. It is a combination of live music, physical theatre, jazz, harmonisations and circus, allowing for a diverse and innovative performance that can be enjoyed by a wide range of audience members.
About the Company
Sur Mesure is a company that was formed by a team of creative minds from different artistic disciplines. A collective consisting of musicians, composers, instrument manufacturers and circus artists come together to inspire and support new and innovative creations.
Fillage by Sur Mesure is a production from the fusion of two professional groups: one, a multi-skilled circus performing trio and the other an accomplished female jazz-swing group. The cast of Fillage have over 10 years of international performing experience and come from all over the world including Finland, Belgium, Switzerland, England and Australia.
